LEADING A PLATOON-How to do it right

-Pick someone competent to be the Bravo Squad Leader. Have them invite pubbies or outfit members while you drag one or two people from your Alpha squad into Bravo. People will see spots open and more willing to join a 10/12 squad than a 5/12 or 3/12. As your Alpha squad keeps filling up, keep draging one of two Alphas to Bravo until Bravo fills up and on and on.

Things to consider

-A platoon doesn't have to be 48 people. 4 Alphas, 3 Bravos, 4 Charlies, and 2 Deltas can be called a platoon.

-Don't take charge of each squad (unless squad leader). Your job as PL is to tell the squads what to do. How they do it is up to the competent squad leaders you've picked.

-PL doesn't have to be SL. You can sit back as Delta 11 and command the Platoon as squad leaders do the how mentioned above.

-Have a backup PL just in case (wifi, blackout, etc)

-Tell people to stfu if need be via "CLEAR COMS!"

-Have a goal. Don't go around taking bases aimlessly. "OK guys, our goal is to work our way to the Tech Plant, and we'll do that by taking the East Coast."

-Use only the Platoon Waypoint. All the other sh*t is just confusing, seriously, especially for new players.

-Use smokes (rally points). Not only can your platoon see them, and the enemy can't, the entire faction can see them. people outside your pltoon will be tempted to go to them.

-Don't cry when things don't go as planned. Half the time (more or less) they won't. Just make a new plan.

-Put pressure on people and encourage SLs to do the same. Saying "I wat everyone in Mossies at the warpgate" will make you sound like a mama's boy. Man the hell up! "I want everyone in this platoon at the warpgate in a mosquito right now! You have TWO minutes! After that you're done" and have your SLs saying like "Let's go people! Hurry up!". That puts more pressure on people as they see that not only one authoratative person is commanding them, but others too.

-Don't threaten to kick everytime someone doesn't listen. No one likes a pout. They may not have voice on. Hop on text and send a memo. However if half the platoon is bullshitting, then give everyone a warning.

-As said above, not everyone has voice, so keep an eye on the people who are trying to feel included through the pltoon chat, and respond to them via voice.

-Don't use leader chat. They're all tards I swear,
